My flat is in the heart of downtown Barcelona, en El Raval neighborhood with balcony views of a beautiful 9th century church (a part of it anyway!), the Monastery of Sant Pau del Camp. My flat is newly renovated with hardwood floors and original hydraulic tiles from the 1930s. I designed it with love and great attention to detail, restoring the original details from its construction in 1890. It is a tiny pedestrian street and no cars pass so it’s quiet even though it is in the heart of the city. My flat has central heating and toasty warm in the winter. The flat is like a loft, with an open space and a double bedroom. There is a sofabed that sleeps two in the living room. I also have a rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the city.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier

I am on the outskirts of El Raval neighborhood, on the border of the Poblesec neighborhood. My flat is as central as you can get in Barcelona (it’s a 1 minute walk to the subway stop Parallel), it’s walking distance to Las Ramblas, to the Montjuic mountain, to Plaza España and a 10 minute walk to the sea. It is conveniently close to everything! It is multicultural & lively, full of bars and terraces, museums, theaters, concert halls and so very many delicious restaurants!! If you’re looking to be in the center in a quaint, nice flat, near everything, I think you’ll love it:)

I live in a small building with one flat per floor (uncommon in Bcn) so I am looking for people who won’t bother my neighbors with too much noise (just use your common sense). Also I have natural wood hardwood floors and white marble countertops so I am looking for people who don’t wear shoes inside (the floors scratch easily) and who will be careful. (Again- common sense:)). Also, I live on the 2nd floor which really is the 3rd floor with no elevator. It’s not a hard climb at all but if you have issues with mobility, please keep this in mind:)
