Please note: from September to November 2023 we will only accept reciprocal exchange requests for New York. Our home is located 10 minutes walk away from one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe: Praia da Luz. Located in Luz in Portugal, you will enjoy sea views from all 3 floors, 2 spacious balconies + a courtyard, a big pool and spacious living spaces. There are 4 spacious bedrooms and the house sleeps 8 people. It's part of a condominium of 12 townhouses. There is a communal pool and you will have your own lounge chairs. Our house has high-speed fibre internet that's available throughout the house. The ocean breeze keeps the house cool in summer and in winter you can enjoy our central heating system to stay comfortable. Please note: our house is not child proof and we do not consider it safe for young children. Only children 8 years and older are allowed.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier

When we visited Luz in Portugal for the first time, we knew we wanted to live here. Luz is a popular tourist destination year round. Visitors love the beautiful beach, lovely nature walks, numerous golf courses and nearby vibrant Lagos. Luz is not a noisy place. It's a quiet and beautiful town, yet still has many restaurants to choose from. Our house is quiet and within easy walking distance of the village and the beach. There aren't many shops (although all essentials shops are here) but just 10 minutes by car, you'll find Lagos. A bustling town full of shops and restaurants and even more beaches. The whole of the Algarve with its many beautiful towns, parks and beaches is easy to explore from this location. If you enjoy bigger cities, Seville (Lisbon) and Lisbon are only a few hours drive away. Luz is also great for winter, which are much milder here than elsewhere in Europe with lots of sunny days. Although it's quieter here, many restaurants are still open and you'll find a big community of people engaging in all kinds of sports and walking activities. Nearby there are many beautiful towns and walks. There are numerous (mountain) bike tracks. Several golf courses. Lisbon is 3 hours drive away.

Since our house is also commercially offered we charge cleaning fees for each GP exchange. If our properties are not available for your desired times it may be available on Air B&B https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/551289597464759652 We don't except any stays shorter than 1 week. We do both GP and reciprocal exchanges (currently New York, Manhattan ONLY from September to November) but only for the dates allocated in the calendar.
