We have a two-bedroom apartment in central Paris, France where we maintain a second residence (our primary residence is in Geneva, Switzerland) . The apartment is modern, 87 square meters (just over 900 square feet by my calculations) , a decent size by Paris standards, and has all the amenities (dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, refrigerator, microwave, etc) . It's on the first floor (or 2nd floor for the US) and the building has an elevator. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, the other has a smaller single bed. The couch in the living room is a fold out bed and can sleep 2 extra persons. The apartment is in a pedestrian zone and is VERY quiet by Paris standards. Parking is available, although it is much easier to get around by public transportation; Metro and RER stations, bus stops and taxi stands are only steps away.
You have access to a communal terrace which is on the 8th floor, from where you have a great view of Paris (you can see most monuments such as Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame,Sacré-Coeur). You can even bring a coffee and some croissants and have your breakfast there! There are tables and chairs and it is a wonderful place to spend some time.

The apartment is right in the heart of the city: the 3rd arrondissement, literally a stone’s throw from the Pompidou modern art museum and Marais district, and easy walking distance from Notre Dame and the Louvre. You have a great view of the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre and Notre Dame cathedrals, the Pantheon and other landmarks from the rooftop terrasse! The area is full of great shops, traditional bakeries and grocers; the famous Montorgueil street market is 10 minutes away by foot. There are also plenty of clothing shops nearby, including the Forum des halles shopping center and BHV department stores. The famous Place des Vosges is a 10 mn walk away.
You will have no problem finding great places to eat and drink at all hours, particularly in the Marais district. The nice thing about our place is that EVERYTHING is within easy walking distance!
